About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Community Responder to support our healthcare services . You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of patients and service users, responding promptly to incidents, urgent needs, and welfare concerns.
This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, caring in nature, and confident working independently at night.
Work Schedule: Rotating biweekly schedule
- Week 1: 4 days working Monday, Tuesday Saturday Sunday
- Week 2: 3 days working Wednesday Thursday Friday
- 7am till 10pm with reset breaks and days as per the shift pattern
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to call-outs and urgent support requests
- Conduct regular welfare checks on patients/service users
- Provide reassurance and practical support during distress or crisis situations
- Support with mobility, basic care, or observation where required
- Accurately document incidents and complete reports
- Liaise with on-call managers, nurses, or emergency services when necessary
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
What We’re Looking For
- A caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Good communication and observational skills
- Must have NVQ Level 3 minimum to apply and have at least 2 year experience in the care sector Domiciliary home care or Residential care
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ) desirable
- Full UK driving licence
