Field Sales & Service Engineer Scotland (Field Based)
Eden Mobility, the UK's leading Agecare and Mobility provider, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly driven Field Service & Sales Engineer to support our continued growth across Scotland.
This is an exciting hybrid role combining technical service engineering with customer-focused sales and business development. You'll spend your working day visiting customers in their own homes, servicing and repairing mobility equipment, delivering product demonstrations, and helping customers find the right solutions to maintain their independence and quality of life.
A company van, laptop, mobile phone, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
The Role
As a Field Sales & Service Engineer, you will be the face of Eden Mobility throughout Scotland. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining and repairing mobility equipment and identifying opportunities to support customers with additional products and services.
You will build strong relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, care providers, and local community organisations, helping to drive awareness and sales of Eden Mobility's extensive range of products and services.
Key Responsibilities Service & Engineering Duties
- Install, maintain, service, and repair mobility equipment including mobility scooters, powerchairs, stairlifts, rise and recline chairs, and associated products.
- Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct planned maintenance visits and safety inspections.
- Deliver and demonstrate equipment to customers within their homes.
- Maintain accurate service records and customer documentation using company systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Manage vehicle stock levels and maintain company equipment.
- Support the wider operations of Eden Mobility as required.
Sales & Business Development Duties
- Conduct in-home mobility assessments and product demonstrations.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable mobility and independent living solutions.
- Generate sales opportunities from service visits and customer enquiries.
- Promote service plans, accessories, warranties, and additional products.
- Develop relationships with Occupational Therapists, healthcare professionals, care homes, local authorities, and community groups.
- Attend local events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of Eden Mobility services.
- Follow up quotations and customer enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Achieve agreed sales and performance targets.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to identify parts from diagrams and complete job reports using company systems.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Willingness to travel throughout Scotland.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in field service engineering.
- Experience of direct sales or customer-facing sales environments.
- Knowledge of mobility products, healthcare equipment, or assistive technology.
- Experience working within healthcare, retail, engineering, automotive, or service industries.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 to 17:00
- Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 to 14:00
