We are a members club supporting the Metropolitan Police Service and their families, officially the Metropolitan Police Hayes Sports Club.
One of the most unique and versatile function room venues in Bromley and South East London, The Warren offers a wide range of function rooms and facilities.
About the Role
- Recruit, train, and manage bar staff, including creating schedules and providing ongoing performance feedback
- Handling cash, budgeting, and reporting on bar finances
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, customers and event organisers
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers
- Overseeing the event on the day, managing staff, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of events, including scheduling, logistics and setup
- Work with Marketing, Sales and Accounts team members
- Key holder for the building and lock/unlock the building as required
- Responsible for managing the tills and EPOS system and their effective use and making changes as required
- Might be asked to carry out other duties to the best of your abilities and to follow other reasonable tasks given to you and comply with the organisation’s rules, procedures and policies
About You
You will be someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced venue environment
- Brings a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Has previous events experience
- Has flexibility to work non-standard hours during events
The successful candidate will be proactive, confident with excellent communication skills and have a natural ability to build a rapport with club members as well as with team members. Furthermore, they will have a record of working to a high standard and be extremely well organised.

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Hospitality management: 5 years (preferred)
- Events management: 4 years (preferred)
