Deputy Nursery Manager – Full Time

The Chelsea Nursery offers a warm, nurturing “home from home” environment for babies and young children. Set in the heart of Chelsea, our bespoke setting is designed to support every child’s development through care, curiosity, and high-quality early years provision. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced practitioner /room leader to join us in a leadership role.
The Role
You will play a key role in providing a high standard of physical, emotional, and intellectual care for children aged 6 months to 4 years. Working as part of a supportive team, you will lead one of our nursery rooms and support the Manager to create an enabling environment where every child can play, develop, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and early learning experiences
- Support children’s development in a safe and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
- Assist with the day-to-day operational management of the nursery and deputise for the Manager in their absence.
Requirements
- A current and relevant childcare qualification (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursery setting
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to commute to or relocate to SW3 6AH
