Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the organisation’s financial operations. Duties
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and QuickBooks to maintain financial records.
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions with precision and efficiency.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports using systems like Workday and Xero.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by analysing relevant financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Maintain organised records of all financial transactions for audit purposes.

Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
- Demonstrable knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial services operations.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy levels.
- Familiarity with systems like Workday is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role within a professional environment is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and organisational procedures. Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
