Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to uphold the highest hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Support the movement of ingredients and supplies within the kitchen to ensure smooth workflow
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness in storage areas and dishwashing stations
- Ensure all kitchen tools and appliances are stored properly after use
- Help with serving duties during busy periods, including delivering food to tables or buffet areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment for everyone
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
