Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Seasonal Bar Staff to join our vibrant team during the busy summer months. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with general bar duties and guest enquiries.
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed throughout shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with good time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in serving or kitchen environments, including culinary or food preparation roles, is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
