Assistant Floor Manager
At Little Door & Co, we create venues that feel like home. Built around the concept of a fictional flatshare, our bars and restaurants are warm, welcoming, fun, and full of personality. We're looking for an Assistant Floor Manager who shares our passion for hospitality and is ready to take the next step in their career.
About the Role
We're looking for an organised, energetic, and people-focused leader to support the Floor Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and running smooth, successful shifts.
You'll be confident leading the floor, motivating the team, and creating a fun, positive atmosphere while maintaining high standards throughout the venue. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a busy environment, and is looking to progress their management career.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- A natural host who loves engaging with guests and building relationships
- Friendly, approachable, and positive with plenty of energy and personality
- Highly organised with strong multitasking skills
- Comfortable leading shifts and supporting the wider management team
- Excellent attention to detail and high operational standards
- Someone who takes pride in their venue and notices the small things
- Passionate about developing themselves and progressing within the business
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Floor Manager with the day-to-day operation of the venue
- Lead shifts and ensure exceptional guest experiences at all times
- Coach, motivate, and set a positive example for the team
- Ensure the venue is always looking its best, from perfectly presented spaces to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Take ownership of venue presentation, ensuring everything from cushions to décor and maintenance issues are addressed promptly
- Support training, development, and team performance
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with confidence and professionalism
- Ensure company standards, procedures, and health & safety requirements are consistently followed
- Supporting the Floor Manager with admin and responsibilities
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and high standards.
If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading from the front, and want to join a growing company where personality matters as much as performance, we'd love to hear from you.
