Session Play Worker (Children & Young People)
Location: Woking (in person)
Hours can be a combination of:
Saturdays 9:00am – 4:00pm (term time)
After School Club Monday, Wednesday or Thursday 2.45pm to 6.30pm (term time)
Evening groups 6pm - 9pm
School holiday schemes - various times
Pay: Up to £14.24 per hour, including rolled up holiday pay (dependent on age and experience)

About LinkAble
LinkAble is a Woking-based charity supporting children, young people and adults with a learning disability and autistic people to live life to the full. We provide fun, structured sessions that build skills, confidence and lasting friendships.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our team delivering engaging sessions for:
- Children aged 5–11 years, or
- Teenagers aged 12–18 years
Activities include arts and crafts, messy play, baking, themed activity days, games and occasional outings.
You will:
- Support children and young people to participate in activities
- Assist with personal care and moving & handling (training provided)
- Promote communication, independence and confidence
- Follow safeguarding procedures and work within charity policies
- Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive environment
This role is hands-on, sociable and highly rewarding.

Experience working with children or young people with SEN or working towards a Health and Social Care certificate is desirable – full training is provided.
Important: In line with guidance from Ofsted, applicants must be aged 17 or over.
