Firewood Processor Operator
Location: North of Norwich
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: £13.70/hour (includes a £0.50/hour attendance bonus)
We are a well-established, family-run timber processing business with over 40 years of experience, specialising in fencing, pallet timber, and firewood. Based just north of Norwich, we’re looking for a physically fit and reliable Firewood Processor Operator to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and outdoor conditions. You’ll be trained to operate firewood processing machinery and help produce consistently high-quality firewood for our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating firewood processing machinery
- Monitoring quality and ensuring correct sizing
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Supporting other timber yard tasks as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather
- Experience with machinery is helpful but not essential

Hours of Work:
- Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 13:30
- Total: 44.5 hours per week
Please note: You must have your own transport, as punctuality and reliable attendance are essential to the role.
