Pre Press Artworker
We are a well-established large-format printing company based in Croydon. Having traded for nearly 40 years, we continue to grow and acquired an additional business in 2026. We produce a diverse range of large-format print and display products for customers throughout the UK and overseas.
We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Pre-Press Artworker to join our busy production department. This is a varied, hands-on role within a small team, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Checking and preparing customer artwork for print.
- Using Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator and Photoshop to amend and produce print-ready files.
- Liaising with the Sales team and customers to clarify artwork requirements.
- Identifying and resolving artwork issues before print.
- Sending Proofs to customers.
- Creating, updating and maintaining artwork templates.
- Processing print ready files through software - (Onyx RIP software).
- Operating and maintaining large format digital printing equipment - (Plant - HP R2000, HP800, Roland 640 UV).
- Managing multiple jobs while meeting production deadlines.
Qualities we are looking for
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe Suite of design products.
- Experience preparing large format print artwork.
- Ability to work on multiple projects whilst adhering to deadlines.
- Great attention to detail.
- Well organised and can manage and prioritise workload.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to get involved and work as part of a team.
- Pre-press, print artwork: 1 year (preferred)
Previous experience operating large-format printers or using ONYX RIP software would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
Salary: Depending on capability and experience
