Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Engineer to join our team at Cranswick in Great Britain. Based in our manufacturing facility, the Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our production processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Working Hours: 2on 2off, 3on 2off, 2on 3off 6:00am – 6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems within the production facility.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Conduct welding and repair work as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate repair schedules.
- Collaborate with production staff to optimize operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on welding skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to food production facilities.
- Experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing setting is preferred.
