Bartender
We are looking for an experienced, friendly and organised bartender to join our team.
Main duties
- Prepare and serve classic and creative cocktails to a consistently high standard
- Take food and beverage orders directly from guests and waiting staff
- Provide friendly, attentive service and create a positive guest experience
- Check identification and ensure customers meet the legal drinking-age requirements
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Take and process takeaway food orders
- Keep the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service
- Clean and polish glasses, bar equipment and utensils
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for spirits, beer, wine and other bar supplies
- Help develop new cocktails and seasonal drinks
- Follow all licensing, food-safety and beverage regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Good cocktail knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident using tills, card machines and computer systems
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
