We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated staff nurse (s) to join our team on the private patients ward at the Royal Brompton hospital.
Sir Reginald Wilson ward is a specialist cardiothoracic/cardiology ward, where we care for a variety of patients with cardiac and lung problems, working collaboratively with multiple medical teams. our caseload includes patients with congenital heart conditions, heart failure, inherited cardiovascular disease, infective endocarditis.
We also look after patients post complex cardiac and lung surgery and post structural procedures (such as TAVI and TEER). We are a leading and innovative nursing and AHP centre providing exceptional care and patient experience. We are a dedicated, supportive and ambitious team offering excellent training and development opportunities.
The staff nurse will work across the team to gain experience in looking after a varied range of specialist cardiothoracic/cardiology patients, offering unique opportunities to develop skills and experience in cardiothoracic/cardiology care.
The post holder will be required to provide the highest standard of individualised and holistic patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, supervise and teach junior members of staff and learns as required and maintain their own personal development with support from the senior nursing team.
