At The Paving Vault, we're a family run business specialising in quality landscaping supplies. We've experienced rapid growth since launching and as we approach our 2 year anniversary, we're excited to be expanding our team once again.
We're looking for an ambitious, motivated, and self driven Sales Manager to take ownership of our sales function and help drive the next stage of our growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and making a genuine impact within a growing company.
This isn't a role where you'll be micromanaged. We're looking for someone with the confidence and initiative to identify opportunities, generate leads, and implement ideas that will grow our customer base and strengthen our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new business opportunities across domestic and trade customers.
- Proactively contact potential customers by phone, email, social media and in person.
- Visit building sites, landscapers, contractors, and other prospective clients to introduce The Paving Vault and build lasting relationships.
- Follow up enquiries and quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and your own business development activities.
- Help promote and market the business by contributing ideas for social media, local advertising, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and deliver sales strategies.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
- Consistently work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales, business development, or sales management role.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A confident and professional approach when meeting customers.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience within landscaping, builders merchants, construction supplies, or a related industry would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
