We welcome applications from both experienced Domestic Assistants and individuals who are new to care home environments and are looking to develop a rewarding career within social care. Successful candidates will become part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
About the Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the home maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection prevention. Your contribution will help promote residents' health, well being, dignity, and quality of life.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the home.
Undertaking laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linen.
Safely moving and handling equipment where required, in line with training and policy.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with infection prevention and control procedures.
Complying with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
Working cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the smooth running of the home.
Promoting a welcoming, safe, and homely environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
