As a Skilled Labourer, you will perform a variety of tasks to support construction projects.
Overview of the Role:
- Skilled Labourer
- Salary – £32,240
- Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of five. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of job sites.
- Operate tools and equipment as required.
- Manage materials and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Support tradespeople in completing tasks.
- Carry out tasks instructed by the Senior Management Team
- Ensure job site cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Perform fire removal works, including the safe removal of damaged fire-rated materials and preparation of affected areas for reinstatement.
- Complete small plastering repairs and patching works to walls and ceilings, ensuring a high-quality finish ready for decoration.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to various job sites.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
- Ensure vehicles paperwork is completed and up to date.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and routes.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed and support labouring activities.
Essential Skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent time keeping and reliability.
- Proficiency with basic tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Experience carrying out fire removal works and preparing areas for fire protection reinstatement.
- Competent in small plastering repairs, patching, and making good.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean Full UK driving license.
- Experience and confidence in driving a Van.
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear Disclosure Scotland Check
- Must have IDLR/Full Rights to work in UK. Sponsorship will not be provided.
