Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Workwear Packer to join our team on a temporary 6–7-week contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking workwear garments received from suppliers, preparing orders for embroidery, carrying out quality inspections on returned embroidered garments, and ensuring customer orders are accurately packed and dispatched.
This role requires a strong attention to detail to ensure garments are correct in terms of size, colour, quality, and embroidery specification before being sent to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Goods In
- Receive and check workwear deliveries from suppliers.
- Verify garments against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Inspect clothing for any damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Confirm correct garment sizes, colours, styles, and quantities.
- Organise and prepare garments for dispatch to embroidery partners.
Quality Control
- Receive embroidered garments returned from suppliers.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on embroidery, ensuring logos and branding meet required standards.
- Verify garment sizes, colours, styles, and quantities against customer orders.
- Identify and report any defects, errors, or quality issues.
- Liaise with supervisors regarding any discrepancies requiring correction.
Packing and Dispatch
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Ensure garments are correctly labelled and packaged.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of processed orders and stock movements.
General Warehouse Duties
- Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, safe, and organised.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Assist with other warehouse and stock-related tasks as required.
