The Role
We are looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will install a range of floor coverings to a consistently high standard while providing excellent customer service and representing our company professionally on every project.
Essential Competencies
- Strong competency in fitting LVT, carpet and vinyl.
- Competent in subfloor preparation, including the use of smoothing compounds, damp-proof membranes and other preparation materials.
- Ability to produce consistently accurate high quality workmanship with attention to detail.
- Ability to measure, plan and complete installations efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome installation challenges on site.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable and customer focused approach.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within both domestic and commercial enviroments
- Relevant flooring qualifications or industry training.
