Overview
We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic Cocktail Bartender to join our dynamic team in Luna Bar! This role is flexible, on a part-time basis, and will begin late August/early September. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, a flair for cocktail making, and a strong commitment to providing quick, personable service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers responsibly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain high standards of safety and hygiene will be essential in delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. This position will be well-suited to Exeter University students as demand for shifts matches university term-time. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with restocking as necessary.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, creating a friendly and inviting environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A passion for serving others and creating memorable experiences for guests.
