We’re looking for a confident and engaging Sales Training & Quality Coach to support our face-to-face sales teams.
This is a hands-on role working closely with new starters, sales advisors, team leaders and office managers to make sure our teams have the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to deliver a great customer experience.
You’ll be involved from the moment someone joins the business, supporting their onboarding and initial training, through to ongoing coaching and quality monitoring once they are active in the field.
This is a remote role which will require some travel to support the training and growth of the sales team.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering live training and coaching calls with sales advisors and teams
- Supporting the onboarding and training of new starters
- Running roleplay sessions to improve pitches, customer conversations and objection handling
- Listening to sales recordings and identifying areas for improvement
- Providing clear and constructive feedback to advisors, team leaders and office managers
- Carrying out mystery shopping to assess the customer journey and sales approach
- Coaching advisors who need additional support with their sales approach, product knowledge or quality
- Identifying common trends from recordings and feeding these back into training
- Working directly with offices to improve performance and maintain high standards
- Helping managers develop their teams through targeted coaching and training
- Supporting refresher training when processes, products or requirements change
Who we're looking for
You don't necessarily need to come from a dedicated training background. We're more interested in finding someone who is confident working with people and can coach others effectively.
You'll need to be:
- Confident speaking to individuals and groups
- Comfortable giving both positive and constructive feedback
- Able to listen to a sales conversation and identify where it could be improved
- Approachable and able to build good relationships with sales teams and managers
- Organised and comfortable managing several different priorities
- Confident running roleplays and interactive training
- Able to communicate expectations clearly without overcomplicating things
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team
- Comfortable commuting to various locations as required
Experience within face-to-face sales, coaching, training or quality assurance would be an advantage.
The role
This isn't a role where you'll spend every day delivering presentations in a training room.
You'll be actively involved with the sales operation – speaking with advisors, listening to real customer conversations, coaching teams, supporting new starters and working with managers to identify where additional training is needed.
It's a good opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people and wants to move into a role combining training, coaching, sales quality and people development.
