Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to quality standards.
- Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic food preparation skills to assist with various café offerings.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
