Overview
Join our dynamic security team as a Mobile & Alarm Response Officer, where your vigilance and proactive approach will safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this energized role, you’ll be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding swiftly to alarms, and conducting surveillance to prevent loss and ensure safety. Your keen eye for detail and quick response will be vital in maintaining a secure environment across multiple sites. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises using mobile patrol vehicles or on foot to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarm activations, investigating and resolving issues with confidence and professionalism
- Perform thorough inspections of facilities, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft and unauthorized access to include lock ups/ unlocks.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring safety and well-being of all individuals on site
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, alarm responses, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Collaborate with emergency responders and law enforcement during incidents or emergencies to ensure swift resolution
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong surveillance skills
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and best practices to minimize theft and property damage
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations; certification in first aid is a plus
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate mobile patrol vehicles if required, must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Good communication skills to document incidents accurately and coordinate with team members

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
