WALSTEAD UK, one of the UK’s leading web offset printers has the following vacancy for their Head Office in Colchester:
Accounts Payable Assistant
Maternity cover – fixed term
Competitive salary based on experience
Full time 37.5 hours per week across 5 days
This role will work within the Accounts Payable team in our Colchester Head Office.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
· Processing all invoices/credit notes/expenses (approx 500 per month), in a timely and organised manner, including seeking appropriate approvals, ensuring they are correctly coded and adequately described
· Submission of weekly batch payment runs + ad hoc payments
· Supplier statement reconciliation
· This position will also support other aspects of the finance team as well as getting involved in various ad hoc projects when required.
Requirements:
· AP experience preferred, but not essential
· High standard of written and verbal communication skills
· Thorough attention to detail and ability to follow process
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Good work organisation skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
