This is a part-time sales role, suited to a fabric enthusiast, for a busy retailer of made to measure curtains and blinds.
Based at our showroom in Hitchin, you’ll be designing and quoting for luxury window dressings including curtains, shutters and blinds. Liaising with clients, suppliers and our in-house workroom team to provide a seamless transition from quote to installation. As well as sales, there are some administrative duties, reporting and recording takings, organising the fitters diary etc.
Experience of selling curtains and blinds is beneficial for this role. You'll need to understand curtain fabric quantities, different heading styles and linings and the accompanying tracks and poles. Often quoting for bay window tracks and made to measure blinds and shutters.
The position requires 3 days per week, 9 until 5:30 including Saturdays 10-4.
You must be well presented and have an excellent command of English, written and spoken, and be of a good standard at maths and I.T.
The starting rate of pay at £13:25 can soon be improved upon depending on your growth and success with us.
