Candidates must have successfully completed Construction Plant Fitter Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Applicants with experience in agricultural or HGV environment maybe considered in addition those with marine experience.
Full clean drivers licence essential, categories BE advantageous.

Job Summary: Construction Plant Fitter with a Craft Certificate, experienced in maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy plant equipment and machinery. Skilled in fault‑finding and responding to breakdowns to keep customer equipment running safely and efficiently. Provides reliable, customer‑focused service.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow safe systems of work, take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others.
- Maintenance and repair of all company products, including construction plant, industrial engines and marine applications.
- Maintenance and repair of all components within our products, engines, transmissions, axles and hydraulic systems.
- Service, repair and overhaul of brake systems, fuel systems and steering systems.
- Work with all electrical systems ECU’s CAN bus systems etc.
- Test new machinery and carry out pre delivery inspections.
- Participate fully in all training and development programs and cross skilling for other jobs related competencies.
- Has the physical ability to perform the above responsibilities in accordance with our H&S practices.
- Maintain all paperwork in relation to jobs accurately and efficiently on our ERP system.
- Proactive in relation to reporting faults and additional works required to line manager.
- Maintain strong customer relationships as an ambassador for the company.
Required knowledge and experience
- Fully qualified with recognised trade certificate
- Full Clean Driving Licence essential (Trailor category advantageous)
- Diagnostic abilities.
- Computer literate.
- Good communication skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Previous experience in service and maintenance of machinery an advantage.
- Demonstrate good work practices including safety awareness, time keeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Committed and positive attitude to work.
- Team player
- Must have existing authorisations to live and work in NI & ROI
- Fluency in English
It is a condition of the role holder to accept the requirement for medical vaccinations for certain working environments throughout employment with the Company, (the Company will cover the cost of same).
