Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, promoting independence whenever possible
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, their families, and the wider care team to ensure consistent quality of care
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and manage schedules efficiently
- Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings, ensuring safe transportation and enjoyable experiences
- Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare professionals
- Foster a positive environment by engaging residents in social activities and encouraging participation in community events
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation of residents
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for updating records and managing schedules accurately
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures to deliver consistent, person-centered support
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others

Pay: £12.71 per hour
