Summer is around the corner and we need Lifeguards for the gem in the Cotswolds, Cirencester's very own Open Air Pool .
About Us
We're nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, our historic spring-fed swimming pool has been delighting visitors since Victorian times. Proud to be the second oldest surviving lido, we are a charity, the pool is run by trustees and volunteers and staffed to high standards every year by professional lifeguards. This season we'll be open from early May to mid-September.
The Role
We're seeking enthusiastic, proactive and professional lifeguards to join our team. You'll help create a safe, welcoming environment for all our visitors while working flexible hours (including mornings, evenings, and weekends).
We offer two types of contracts:
- Fixed term contracts: 15 to 20 hours on the rota each week (with possibility of additional hours) for our core team
- Flexible/zero hours contracts for those preferring variable schedules
What You'll Do
- Ensure swimmer safety at our main and toddler pools.
- Keep our facilities clean and welcoming.
- Work as part of our friendly team.
- Attend monthly training sessions.
What You'll Need
- Current RLSS NPLQ qualification (essential)
- Good fitness level and swimming ability
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service mindset
