We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and counters in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow food safety procedures at all times to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively by prioritising orders and maintaining excellent time management skills during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic food preparation skills to support various café activities.
- Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management abilities to work efficiently during peak hours without compromising service quality.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
