Job Overview
The role is to work with Lynx - our subcontract fabrication and engineering department. A high level of technical knowledge and experience within a similar role is required.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Program or edit CNC code (G-code) as needed for production requirements
- Work from drawings and specifications to produce high quality parts
- Ensure orders are completed to the correct standard and on time
- Inspect machining issues such as tool wear, machine errors and material inconsistencies
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:
- Prior experience operating CNC mills, lathes and/or other precision machinery
- Familiarity with G-code and/or CAD/CAM software
- A good work ethic and a desire to produce high quality products
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
