Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Duties
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Manage stock levels, ordering, receiving and organising medication supplies
- Prepare and label medication packages in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Support patient care activities by providing information on medication usage and potential side effects
Requirements
- Previous experience in pharmacy technician is desirable but happy to provide training to euthanistic individuals
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to legal standards in healthcare settings
