Duties
- Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition.
- Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components with precision.
- Follow assembly instructions for vehicle upgrades or modifications while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks using appropriate techniques or equipment to handle large or cumbersome parts safely.
- Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge of motor vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, and hydraulics.
- Experience reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Prior experience in equipment repair or automotive service environments is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
