Our Healthcare division plays a vital role in delivering essential, life-enhancing medical products directly to patients and care providers across the UK. As part of a global healthcare logistics network, we combine international expertise with a strong local commitment to patient care.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Logistics Manager to lead operations at our York depot. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day logistics and distribution activities at the depot
- Manage and develop a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries in line with customer expectations
- Monitor and improve operational performance, KPIs, and cost efficiency
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and regulatory compliance
- Plan routes and resource allocation to maximise productivity
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to support business objectives
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in a logistics, transport, or depot management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with logistics systems and performance reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
