We are actively seeking a new Consultant to join our team and contribute their skills and passion to our shared goals.
About the role:
As an Invasive Plants Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive expert advice and reassurance from day one. Your main responsibility will be to deliver high-quality consultancy via competent on-site assessment followed by detailed, accurate reporting which will enable our clients to make informed choices about their invasive plant problem.
Working mainly from home, with occasional travel to our office in Woking, you'll be covering a wide area around London, Home Counties and the Southeast, where there will be many different people to meet and work with, so you’ll need to be outgoing and friendly, with a "how can I help you?" attitude. You will need to be able to think on your feet, make astute assessments of clients' requirements and then use a persuasive, teaching style to communicate how our business can best help them taking account of any constraints.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for;
- Taking incoming “New Enquiry” calls, logging them accurately on the system and providing advice to prospective residential clients, with the aim of securing a sale for residential surveys/management plans.
- Identifying a range of invasive plants in the field and assessing the existing and future impacts of those species on a site.
- Preparing and submitting Management Plans which include technical recommendations and costings.
- Providing follow up support to clients through their decision-making process.
- Following up all proposals in a timely fashion with the aim of securing instructions for the proposed work.
- Meeting defined sales targets relating to both value of secured work and conversion rates.
- Assisting the Marketing team with initiatives as required e.g. delivering webinars, networking events, and collecting digital content.
- Building relationships with professional advisors such as solicitors, surveyors and estate agents, as well as existing and potential clients to develop repeat/referral business.

- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work at a fast pace, with accuracy
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent communicator, with an empathetic, solutions-focused approach and a strong understanding of others’ needs and concerns.
- A suitable space to enable you to work from home
- Knowledge of landscaping/construction and waste disposal will be advantageous, as would some previous experience in a similar role.
