Full-Time Residential Carer – Make a Real Difference
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to drive one of our manual pool cars, therefore, it is essential that you hold a Full UK Driving Licence and are over the age of 23. Without this, your application will not be considered.
Location: Near Colchester
Salary: From £33236.28 per year
Rota: Three-day pattern – One full day on (including a sleep-in), followed by two days off
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Carers to join our team in one of our Ofsted-rated 'Good' and 'Outstanding' residential children’s homes. Our homes provide care for young people aged 10-17 who have faced significant emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.

What You’ll Do:
✔ Build positive relationships with young people, supporting their emotional and behavioural development
✔ Work within a trauma-informed approach, using behaviour management techniques (full training provided)
✔ Contribute to the home’s daily routine, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a homely environment
✔ Keep accurate written records of daily events and progress
✔ Work within a structured three-day rolling rota, ensuring a healthy work/life balance

What We Need from You:
