Part-Time Organic Social Media MarketerLocation
Westhoughton based, with some flexibility for hybrid working.
Hours
Part-time, ideally 2 to 3 days per week. Exact hours can be discussed.
About the role
We’re looking for a creative, hands-on organic social media marketer to help grow a fast-moving UK clothing brand across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
This role would suit someone who understands social content, can spot trends, is confident creating simple but effective posts, and knows how to turn everyday brand activity into content people actually want to watch.
You do not need to be a polished corporate marketer. We’re looking for someone creative, proactive and commercially minded who can help make the brand feel more visible, more human and more engaging online.
Responsibilities
Create and manage organic social content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels.
Film and edit short-form videos, including product content, behind-the-scenes clips, founder/team content, customer reactions, trends and simple educational posts.
Develop weekly content ideas that fit the brand voice and target customer.
Schedule and publish regular content.
Write captions, hooks and simple post copy.
Monitor comments, messages, trends and customer conversations.
Identify viral-style content opportunities and adapt them for the brand.
Work with the wider team to capture content from new products, promotions, packing, printing, customer feedback and day-to-day business activity.
Help build a more consistent social media presence.
Track basic performance, including views, engagement, follower growth and content that leads to sales.
What we’re looking for
Experience creating organic content for TikTok, Instagram or Facebook.
Good understanding of short-form video, hooks, trends and scroll-stopping content.
Comfortable filming on a phone and using simple editing tools such as CapCut, Canva or similar.
Strong written English and a natural feel for social media captions.
Able to work independently and bring ideas without waiting to be spoon-fed.
An interest in clothing, ecommerce, men’s lifestyle, fashion, fitness, humour or direct-to-consumer brands would be a bonus.
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving business where things change quickly.
Nice to have
Experience growing an ecommerce or clothing brand.
Basic understanding of TikTok Shop, influencer outreach or affiliate content.
Experience appearing on camera or directing others on camera.
Basic photography or product content skills.
Experience using Shopify, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Centre, Canva, CapCut or scheduling tools.
The kind of person who will do well
Creative, self-starting and full of ideas.
Understands what makes people stop scrolling.
Can balance funny, relatable and commercial content.
Is happy testing lots of ideas rather than waiting for everything to be perfect.
Wants to be part of a brand with big growth potential.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate or pro-rata salary depending on experience.
How to apply
Send your CV, a short note about why you’d be a good fit, and examples of social content you’ve created or accounts you’ve worked on.
