Planning Technical Support Team Leader
We are looking for a Planning Technical Support Team Leader to join our Planning and Development Team. In this new and important role, you will lead and support our busy planning support and technical team. You will supervise the team, manage their day to day work, help develop the team and ensure they provide high quality administrative and technical support. You will also help improve our services reviewing and improving our systems and processes supporting digital changes and finding better ways of working.
You will need strong IT skills to use our digital tools and bespoke planning systems. You should have a degree (or equivalent) in town and country planning, or experience supervising a development management team, with a good understanding of the support needs in a busy planning service.
The ideal candidate will be well organised, able to manage their workload and that of the team, provide great customer service and communicate confidently with a range of people. If you enjoy a challenge, are a strong leader, and can train and motivate a team, this role will help you build your planning and leadership skills and experience.

36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £32,597 - £36,363 (pay award pending)
