Support Worker – Supported Exempt Accommodation
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: £15 per tenant per week
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our growing Supported Exempt Accommodation team.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided to the right candidate. What matters most is that you have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly one-to-one support sessions with tenants.
- Complete support plans, risk assessments and support records.
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly case notes.
- Carry out regular property and room inspections.
- Support tenants with benefits, budgeting and accessing local services.
- Encourage independence, education, employment and positive life skills.
- Liaise with local authorities and external support agencies.
- Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing.
- Monitor tenancy compliance and help resolve any issues professionally.
