Clark Wood is delighted to be working with a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Salisbury who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Senior with UK accountancy practice experience who is seeking a varied, client-facing role within a professional but relaxed environment.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, taking responsibility for accounts preparation, tax compliance and supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing management accounts and VAT returns
- Supporting clients with accounting queries and providing practical advice
- Assisting with personal and corporate tax compliance work
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members where required
- Maintaining strong relationships with a varied portfolio of clients
- Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Skills & Experience
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
