Overall Purpose:
This Internship role covers a variety of roles in British Esports to help the successful applicant best understand the Company and its projects, to gain different experiences from each department, and to develop key skills. This role also offers the opportunity for the successful applicant to lead on a key project during their time with the Company.
The role will work with all departments in the business, whilst also developing and assisting with other adhoc operations of the Company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with all departments of the Company to develop and assist where appropriate, and to gain an understanding of the Company procedures
- Work with the operations team to understand the Company processes and support admin and organisation of set projects, tournaments, and events
- Work with the Operations team on admin and organisation of the British Esports Student Champs and partner tournaments or events
- Help develop and assist the education and marketing teams with strategies and outreach
- Assist on admin and delivery of funded projects
- Preparing and supporting new funding grant opportunities
- Assist with front of house and other duties required to support the daily operations of the NEPC.
- Assist with any off-site and on-site (The Place, Gaming Houses, and British Arena) hosted events.
- Development of a key project throughout the year within a department
- Support with creation of briefs and execution of the resulting projects
- Research and analysis of the strategies and content of other esports federations
- Research and case studies
- Support on reporting documents
- Support on general content
- General ad hoc ops tasks
Policy and Procedures:
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Comply with statutory and company health and safety policies.
- Attend weekly/ monthly departmental meetings as required.
- Ensure annual appraisals, job chats and job reviews are completed in line with company policy.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
- Ensure regular and appropriate communication with other departments to maintain a courteous and professional relationship.
- Attend work punctually.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal presentation and organisation.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks allocated by the management.

Pay: Up to £26,500.00 per year
