Main Duties of a Senior Care Assistant
- Lead and support Care Assistants, delegating tasks and organising workloads
- Deliver high‑quality care including personal care, continence care, and moving & handling
- Act as first point of contact in emergencies
- Administer medication safely
- Supervise and mentor staff to maintain high standards
- Develop and maintain care plans
- Communicate with residents, families, and professionals
- Use IT systems for care records and planning
- Carry out audits, spot checks, and stock control
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Support management team as required
What We Need From You
We’re looking for someone who shares our values, works well in a team, and brings positivity.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a care setting
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Strong English communication skills
- Compassionate and person‑centred approach
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS (paid by us)
