Role Overview In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT systems, ensuring compliance with data protection obligations, and implementing cyber security measures. Your primary focus will not be on technical support, which is provided by an external IT provider. Instead, you will manage this relationship and hold them accountable for their services. This role offers genuine autonomy and broad responsibilities. You will serve as the organization’s primary point of contact for all matters related to systems, data, and information governance. Your reporting line will be directly to senior management. Key Responsibilities * Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer our Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, email, shared drives, and permissions. * Access Management: Implement a robust starters and leavers process to ensure prompt access and account setup and management. * Training and HR Platforms: Manage and maintain our training and HR platforms. * Staff IT Support: Act as the first point of contact for staff IT issues, resolving technical problems and escalating complex matters. * Outsourced IT Support Contract Management: Manage our outsourced IT support contract and software suppliers, including our care management system provider. * Asset Register: Maintain an accurate asset register of laptops, mobiles, and other equipment. * Data Processing Agreements: Ensure compliance with data processing agreements with our working partners. * Subject Access Requests: Handle subject access requests and investigate any data breaches or near misses. * Cyber Essentials Certification: Achieve and maintain our Cyber Essentials certification. * Multi-Factor Authentication: Implement multi-factor authentication everywhere, ensure backups are running, and test restores. Essential Qualifications * Experience administering Microsoft 365 in a workplace setting. * Solid working knowledge of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. * Experience managing a supplier, contract, or external provider. * Ability to explain technical and compliance issues clearly to non-technical individuals. * Genuine organisation and discipline to maintain records, logs, and evidence in order. Desirable Qualifications * Experience in health, social care, or another regulated sector. * Familiarity with Cyber Essentials. * Data protection qualification. Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
