About the Role
As part of the Independence Group Operations Team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality customer service and operational support to our members. This role focuses on building strong, trusted relationships, developing an understanding of each member’s business, and ensuring they receive effective and timely support.
As an IG Operations & Partnership Assistant, you will work across a broad range of tasks, supporting member queries, collaborating with internal teams, and gaining exposure to different areas of the business. This is a dynamic position that offers variety and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
You’ll be joining a small, friendly, and motivated team that works closely together to support our Independence Group members. We take pride in creating a collaborative and welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and relationship management for Independence Group members
- Respond to member queries and coordinate solutions with internal teams including heavy involvement with our in-house finance teams
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems and forms
- Support onboarding of new members and branch openings
- Manage member contracts, including updates and amendment
- Oversee processes for branch closures
- Assist with reporting, audits, and month-end administrative tasks
- Support members with training on internal systems
- Carry out general administrative duties, including reporting and data analysis
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional and confident approach when working with stakeholders
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
- Flexible approach and resilient to change
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Qualifications
- GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) or above in English Language and Literature
