Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Two‑Week Reliability Improvement Support

MechElecPro Solutions is seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a focused reliability improvement sprint on a Tekpak Case Erector / Case Packer and Pouch Filling Line. This short‑term assignment is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who excels in fault‑finding, optimisation, and stabilising automated production equipment.
Role Overview
You will be dedicated full‑time to improving the stability and throughput of the pouch filling and case packing line ahead of a new palletiser installation. Working closely with production teams, you’ll drive reliability, reduce stoppages, and implement practical improvements that deliver immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Root‑cause analysis of recurring stoppages
- Mechanical, electrical and control system adjustments
- Sensor alignment, timing optimisation and throughput tuning
- Operator coaching and best‑practice setup documentation
- Identification and implementation of minor upgrades
What We’re Looking For
- Strong multi‑skilled background (mechanical & electrical)
- Experience with automated packaging machinery (Tekpak experience advantageous)
- Confident in fault‑finding, optimisation and continuous improvement
- Clear communicator, proactive problem‑solver, able to work independently
- Comfortable delivering improvements quickly in a live production environment
