DUCT-IN LTD is a growing HVAC manufacturing and distribution business specialising in bespoke ventilation products including plenums, grille boxes, filter boxes, weatherproof housings and custom sheet metal fabrication.
As part of a major digital transformation project, we are seeking an Airtable Developer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to design and build a custom Airtable-based operational platform that will become the backbone of our business.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a greenfield project and deliver a complete operational system from the ground up.
Project Overview
Over the next 12 months, DUCT-IN LTD intends to replace a number of manual processes, spreadsheets and disconnected systems with a fully integrated Airtable platform covering:
- Sales
- Operations
- Manufacturing

- Workflow Automation
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building and implementing this system.
Key ResponsibilitiesAirtable Development
- Design Airtable database architecture
- Build linked table structures
- Create user-friendly Interfaces
- Develop forms and data capture systems
- Configure permissions and user access
- Build dashboards and reporting tools
Workflow Automation
- Develop Airtable automations
- Create status-driven workflows
- Reduce manual administration
- Implement approval processes
- Create operational notifications and alerts
System Integration
- Integrate Airtable with Xero
- Develop API-based integrations
- Connect external business systems
- Support future CAD and manufacturing integrations
Process Improvement
- Review existing business processes
- Identify opportunities for automation
- Recommend improvements to operational workflows
- Work closely with management and operational staff

Xero Integration
Implementation of automated data flows between Xero and Airtable, including:
