Part-Time Office Administrator
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 10:00am–3:00pm)
Salary: £17,500–£19,500 per year (depending on experience)

Rauds Business Solutions is a friendly and growing accountancy practice based in Edinburgh. We provide bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, accounts and tax services to hundreds of small businesses across Scotland.

We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator to become an important part of our team.
About the Role
This is a varied role that will help keep our office running smoothly and allow our accountants to focus on supporting our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and taking messages.
- Welcoming clients to the office.
- Opening, sorting and scanning incoming post.
- Uploading documents to our electronic filing system.
- Managing the office email inbox.
- Chasing clients for outstanding records and paperwork.
- Booking appointments for our accountants.
- Preparing engagement letters and other standard documents.
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining a tidy office.
- Providing general administrative support to the team.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is organised and enjoys keeping things in order.
- Has good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Can work independently and manage their own workload.
- Is friendly, professional and enjoys working as part of a small team.
Previous office or administrative experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. Experience within an accountancy or professional services environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
