People Coordinator - FTC to end December 2026

About the role
We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic People Coordinator to join our People team, based at our Support Centre in Swindon.
In this role, you’ll be supporting our colleagues across the business, providing support where needed on a variety of administrative tasks relating to starters and leavers, performance, employee wellbeing, and benefits. Key responsibilities will include;
- Assisting with all aspects of People Administration including the issuing of internal appointment letters & contracts, tracking of secondments, new colleagues probationary & induction management
- Supporting the management and compliance of People practices e.g. absence management, probationary periods, leavers, maternity leave etc
- Ensuring People data is maintained accurately, and updates are obtained when required, to ensure compliance with current legislation
- Managing the People inbox and responding to employee queries in a timely manner
- Supporting the People team with key processes such as weekly People updates, and compiling monthly People data packs
- Managing sensitive and confidential People information with the highest level of discretion, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies
- Involvement with ad hoc People support and projects

- Previous experience working in a similar HR/People environment is essential
- You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage a varied and busy workload
- A confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business
- You will have the ability to handle sensitive information in a professional and confident manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines
- You will be a competent user of the MS Office suite, with intermediate Excel skills
