Join one of the UK's leading temporary structure specialists.
With over 35 years' experience delivering premium marquees and temporary structures for the UK's live events industry, TT Tents has built an outstanding reputation for quality, reliability and exceptional customer service.
Our structures are used at some of the country's most prestigious sporting, corporate and private events, and we're looking for hardworking, reliable people to join our installation team.
Whether you already have marquee experience or are looking to start a new career, if you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work and thrive as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Marquee Rigger, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding events from start to finish. No two days are the same, with work taking place at a variety of venues across the UK. Working under the guidance of an experienced Crew Chief/Foreman, you'll receive on-the-job training while developing the skills needed to safely install and dismantle premium temporary structures.
As your experience grows, you'll be given increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within the company. We believe in promoting from within. Many of our Crew Chiefs and Foremen started as marquee riggers. If you're hardworking, reliable and willing to learn, there is genuine opportunity to progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Erecting and dismantling marquee structures to the highest standard.
- Loading and unloading equipment and preparing vehicles for site.
- Installing flooring, walls, doors, linings and associated event equipment.
- Following site plans and working safely in line with company procedures.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is stored correctly.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to our clients on site.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
- Flexible and willing to work early mornings, late finishes and occasional weekends during our busy season.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Previous marquee, construction, events or outdoor labouring experience would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
What We Offer
- Competitive rates of pay.
- Full training and ongoing development.
- Opportunities to progress into Lead Rigger and Foreman roles.
- Company pension.
- Uniform and PPE provided.
- A friendly, supportive team environment.
- The opportunity to work at some of the UK's most prestigious events.
If you're looking for a rewarding, hands-on role where every week is different and you can build a long-term career in the events industry, we'd love to hear from you.
