Covering the North Yorkshire region this is a site-based role servicing and maintaining Fire Extinguishers and requires a recent BAFE certification
Joining a great team in the North Yorkshire region you will be responsible for maintenance and fault rectifying on Fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment for a large-scale contract around the whole of the Yorkshire area.
Job responsibilities:
- You will be accurately diagnosing and repairing issues with PFFE, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Carry out thorough maintenance on PFFE, wet/dry risers, hose reels, and sprinkler systems, ensuring they remain fully operational, compliant with safety regulations, and ready for immediate use
- Ensure all work is carried out in full compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and insurance standards, maintaining the highest industry standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, accurately diagnose issues, and provide clear recommendations for resolution
Relevant experience:
- Professional experience in the fire and security industry, demonstrating comprehensive technical expertise and practical proficiency
- Hold a valid and up-to-date PFFE qualification (BAFE Certified), demonstrating compliance with industry standards, expertise in fire protection equipment, and the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections to the highest standard
- Willingness to travel extensively across multiple locations, ensuring timely maintenance, repairs, and inspections while providing high-quality service and support to clients as needed
- Ideally hold a valid CSCS card, demonstrating compliance with health and safety regulations and the ability to work safely on construction sites
