Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A valid driving licence and own vehicle needs to facilitate travel between locations. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure their requirements are met
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
Qualifications
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle needs to travel between sites
- Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
